Hello from NA nail salon.
Once again, we’d like to share an honest roundup of the reviews we received in August.
In July, we were incredibly fortunate: every single review was ★5. August was different. Looking at the numbers alone, it was “a month that went down.” But this is exactly the month we wanted to publish. A page filled only with praise tells you nothing about what we’re actually trying to fix. So here are both — the words that made us happy, and the feedback we need to take seriously — together with what we’re going to do about it.
📊 August 2026 Customer Reviews
- Total reviews: 54
- Average rating: ★4.9
- Atmosphere: ★5.0
- Service: ★5.0
- Technique & results: ★4.9
- Menu & pricing: ★5.0
August brought us 54 reviews — a wonderful number. An average of ★4.9 is, objectively, a high rating. We accept that gratefully and thank every guest who took the time to write.
That said, one thing is clear. Of the four categories, only “technique & results” sits below the others. Atmosphere, service, and pricing all scored close to 5.0, while the finish itself came in a notch lower. In other words: some guests felt the space was comfortable, the service was good, and the price was fair — but the finished nails were one step short.
There’s no way around that. Technique is what we most need to sharpen.
Words That Warmed Our Hearts
Mi (Female, Early 30s) ★5
“I’ve been coming for over a year now. My schedule kept me away for two months, and they cleaned up my badly overgrown nails so carefully. Thank you as always! They’ve never once given me a result I didn’t love — I really want everyone in Osaka to visit this salon.”
A full year of visits, and “never once given me a result I didn’t love.” There’s no higher praise than that. We want to be the kind of salon you can walk into without any guilt, even when time has slipped away. Come as you are, whenever you’re ready.
Nachi (Female, Early 30s) ★5
“It turned into another favorite design! Even when I’m torn on the color, they offer so many suggestions. I started coming here when my nails were weak and in bad shape, and since then they haven’t broken or lifted — the longevity makes me so happy!”
Being part of the journey from weak, damaged nails back to healthy ones means a great deal to us. Nails aren’t only about looking beautiful; they’re about protecting the natural nail while you enjoy them. We’ll keep adjusting our work to the condition of your nails, never forcing anything.
Miori (Female, Late 20s) ★5
“You changed my gel slightly last time. The wear was already good, but it got even better — and you were just as delighted as I was. I’m so full of gratitude. Already looking forward to next time!”
Adjusting the gel to suit each person’s nails is a small change — and you noticed it, then shared the joy with us. That’s the most rewarding moment in this work. Let us keep building “better than last time” together.
Saki (Female, Late 30s) ★5
“I booked at short notice for a late time slot, and they still took such careful care of me and made my hands so cute. I’m nothing but grateful. And the two-week guarantee period is really reassuring!”
A last-minute booking, and a late one at that. Those are exactly the moments when we work hardest to keep any sense of rush away from our guests. “Nothing but grateful” — that’s our line. Thank you for making the time in a busy schedule.
N (Female, 40s) ★5
“This time I chose from the samples, and they check every detail — colors, charms, even the width of the French line — so I can relax and leave it to them. Last time they warned me the 5D flowers might crack, but I lived normally and they came through untouched. Really impressive.”
With dimensional art, there’s always the worry of whether it will last. Being upfront about the risk beforehand, and then having it come through untouched — that’s how trust is built. Please never hesitate to ask for millimeter-level adjustments like the width of a French line.
Areas We’re Taking Seriously
In August, technique & results scored lower than our other categories. Here is the most specific piece of feedback we received, exactly as it was written.
Ruru (Female, Late 20s) | Technique & results ★3
“Thank you as always for the cute nails! That said, the left-right difference in how the charms are placed bothers me a little. The free two-week repair is much appreciated, so I’ll use it next time something catches my eye.”
A regular guest told us plainly. Asymmetry in charm placement. That’s a matter of technique itself, and it’s something we let slip. We weren’t reliably taking the time, at the very end, to line up both hands and check.
And then this line: “I’ll use it next time something catches my eye.” That matters too. The fact that it wasn’t mentioned on the spot means we hadn’t created an atmosphere where it felt easy to say so.
Starting in September, here’s what we’re doing about it:
- A both-hands final check becomes part of our standard flow. Right before finishing, we’ll line up both hands and review charm position, size, and angle together with you
- We’ll ask “Is there anything you’d like adjusted?” ourselves, every time. It shouldn’t be on you to raise it — asking is our job
- You’ll see charm placement before we set it. Once it’s cured it’s hard to change, which is why that pause beforehand matters
Remi (Female, Early 20s) | Overall ★4, Technique & results ★3
“They were so kind to me, which made me happy.”
Warm words, but ★3 for the finish. That gap gave us the most to think about. There must have been a feeling of “not quite what I pictured” that was hard to put into words.
Perhaps being pleased with the service made it harder to raise a concern about the result. Kindness and honesty should be able to coexist.
- We’ll check in mid-service: “Is this matching what you had in mind?” Creating a moment to course-correct partway through, not only at the end
- We’ll show you a finished photo on the spot. Seeing it makes it far easier to put any lingering doubt into words
And from the ★4 ratings on technique & results
Emu, Aya, Moe, and Uju also rated technique & results ★4. Their written comments were all warm — “It was my first visit and I had such a fun time,” “Fast work and a careful finish, I’m satisfied.”
They were happy. But it wasn’t full marks. That half-step gap is the distance we need to close. Fast and careful, without cutting the final detail short — that’s our theme for September.
Our Focus for September
Based on August’s feedback, here’s what we’re prioritizing:
- Zero asymmetry: A both-hands final check on every service, with charm placement confirmed with you before curing
- We ask first: “Is there anything you’d like adjusted?” — asked by us, twice: mid-service and after finishing
- Sharing progress: Pausing once the design takes shape so any gap with your vision can be corrected right then
- Confirming with a photo: Looking at the finished result together before you leave, so anything on your mind can be said on the spot
- Raising our technical floor: Regular staff-to-staff finish checks focused on form, symmetry, and charm placement
We want “cute” to be a given. On top of that, we want September to be the month you can call flawless down to the smallest detail. Especially for those who gave us a tougher rating — we hope you’ll come back. Feeling “this is better than last time” is the most honest reply we can give.
Closing
We sincerely thank every customer who visited us in August. The kind words and the tougher ratings were both things we needed in order to move forward.
If you leave us a review, it encourages us and gives us valuable insight into how we can do better. Please don’t hold back the “this bothered me a little” comments — that one sentence changes the finish for the next guest.
